Why Become a Member?
When you join the MFGS you become a member of a ever growing group of people that have an interest in listening to and playing this unique form of music. Members will have the chance to make new friends that have similar interests in the acoustic guitar. All members will be exposed to new musical influences by fellow members. Current members will have the benefit of being influenced by your music. The MFGS will host functions on a quarterly basis where members can bring their guitars and play their favorite tunes for everyone. A newsletter will also be sent to members informing them of important events about the society and its members. The cost of membership is mainly to offset expenses of our quarterly gatherings.
The MFGS is for guitarists of all skill levels. Our current members range in skill from professional musicians to new guitarists. We welcome everyone to join our organization. Still not convinced? Drop us an email at info@fingerstyle.org and we'll tell you more.

Membership in the Michigan Fingerstyle Guitar Society
Benefits include a $5 discount on 1 concert
ticket per show, $5 workshop discounts,
and open stages at all MFGS parties.
Besides being a member, perhaps you would also consider being a patron or sponsor for this worthwhile organization. Since the Michigan Fingerstyle Guitar Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, all contributions are fully tax-deductible as allowed by law.
If you feel strongly enough that the mission of this organization is worthwhile and would like to contribute more than the basic dues amount, please feel free to do so! Just add an additional amount you choose to the base $30 dues when you sit down to write your check or
send a separate amount if you feel moved.
